Overdrive Purchasing questions

In a few weeks I'll be at the Overdrive conference, where I am on one of the panels. I'd be curious to hear answers to some of these questions, some I know for some members but not for others.

  1. Do you use the CPC (cost per circ) method - and if so in what circumstances?
  2. Do you purchase MACU - metered access concurrent uses - mostly audio titles that offer 100 concurrent checkouts, though Harper Collins is starting to offer it on some of their titles.
  3. Are you using the notify me tags to help with purchasing?
  4. When  multiple lending models are offered, how are you deciding which models to purchase?
  5. Do you have any cool overdrive stories? (we had one where a woman in her late 80s came in to get help to get Libby loaded because large print books weren't large enough and she could use her device to make the print even bigger - those kinds of stories are great if you have any)

Thanks! The conference is in August and I'm getting my notes together by the end of July. The session is the first session at the conference and I think it's wonderful our consortia and the state of Wyoming is being represented as a consortia that Overdrive uses an example of a consortia that works together very well and puts making patrons happy as a priority.

Thanks in advance, Kate
