Smaller libraries are often surprised to learn that 67% of libraries we partner with are under 30,000 cardholders and span between small towns and rural communities. Kanopy is a great fit for smaller libraries because you'll only pay for content patrons are actually watching. We don't charge any additional fees, allowing your library to feel more comfortable offering Kanopy's wide collection of films. All patrons need in order to access Kanopy on their own is a valid library card, and an internet connection to stream films. Kanopy limits access to just your patrons by using either SIP2, Patron API, Sirsi REST API, EZProxy, or barcode pattern authentication if a server connection is not available.
