Hello all,

I hope everyone is doing well! I'm reaching out today to let you know about
some tasks that need to be completed in VDX by Friday, March 11. Due to
security concerns, we are asking all member libraries who use the same
characters for their username and password to update their password to
something different in VDX.

To change your password, go to the column on the left-hand side of the page
in VDX and select the "User" tab. Select "Barcode" from the dropdown on
this page, then type in your institution's barcode (username) and hit
search. This will take you to a page titled "User Details". Go to the
bottom of the page and select the edit button, which will have an icon of a
piece of paper beside it. The top of the page will have two bars titled
"Password" and "Confirm Password". Type your new password into these bars,
then check the box beside the first bar titled "Update Password". After
this is complete, hit the save button, and your password will be updated.

After you have updated your passwords, WSL staff will need to be alerted to
the changes that have been made. To simplify this process, there will be a
survey attached to this email, so you will need to save this email to come
back to once you have finished. Please complete this survey by entering
your name, email, library, then your new VDX password.

After the updates are complete, and we have recorded the passwords here at
WSL, the survey will be deleted. But if you have any concerns about this
method, we are also happy to update passwords via phone call at (307)
777-7282. Please remember to complete this task by March 11.
