Happy Spring everyone,
Jamie tells me that the State Library's ARPA grant ends in September, so there will be no grants to help support this effort in FY23.

However, the good news is that the State Library will be using LSTA federal funds to support the Magazines, Comics, and add more than $50,000 in content purchases.
As libraries start to budget for the next fiscal year, I'm starting to get questions about who, what, and how will libraries will be billed so figured this is a good time to address it.
Each member has a contract directly with Overdrive, so Overdrive will be the ones to invoice each member. They will generate an invoice for your annual fee, based on population, 1/6 of that is the platform fee and the remaining 5/6 will show up as content credit in your regular non-ARPA account.  (thank you Jamie for negotiating a better split for us!)
Overdrive does not mail paper invoices, but you will have to go in and print the invoice. After your content credit is spent, you will be invoiced for expenditures over and above the credit. WITH THE EXCEPTION that pre-releases ordered are not paid with content credit and will be billed via invoice. If you only plan to spend content credit, you will need to be sure not to order titles as a pre-release.
Advantage purchasers: Invoices for items purchased with Advantage account can only be accessed via your advantage log-in, so be sure to download from that log in also if you purchased through it.
At Natrona County, our business manager gets an email every time an invoice is generated and she logs in to print it. Those are the only user rights she has, so it is possible to create a user that can only access the billing. If that's something you want to look into, please let me know and I'd be happy to help.
Attached is what amount you should be billed by Overdrive.
Let me know if you have any questions that I can help with. Thanks, Kate
